Biographical Note:

Joshua Bolten served as White House Chief of Staff for President George W. Bush from 2006 to 2009. Prior to this post, Bolten occupied multiple roles in the Bush White House, including Director of the Office of Management and Budget (2003-06) and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy (2001-03). Bolten entered the Bush administration after experience as Policy Director of the 2000 presidential campaign. In addition to his experience in the private sector (including at Goldman Sachs in London and O'Melveny & Myers in Washington, DC), Bolten also previously served in the federal government as Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs during the George H.W. Bush administration.
