Biographical Note:

Marc Grossman served in the George W. Bush administration as the under secretary of state for political affairs from 2001 to 2005. During his 29 year career in the Foreign Service, Grossman was also the U.S. ambassador to Turkey (1994-1997) and then assistant secretary of state for European affairs in the Clinton administration (1997-2000). From 2011 to 2012, he returned to serve in the Obama administration as the U.S. special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan. He is currently the Vice Chairman of The Cohen Group.
