Research Interests:
The broad sweep of Danny’s research focuses on 20th century Christian social ethics in North America. His specialty is in economic ethics and theology, which is visible in his dissertation that explores the impact of accounting on theology and ethics.

Road to the Moody School:
Danny earned bachelor’s degrees in both accounting and biblical studies from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. As a licensed certified public accountant, he has worked in the accounting field in a variety of contexts, from large public accounting firms to small businesses and not-for-profits. His master’s degree is in religious studies from Missouri State University, where he studied religion, self and society. Danny has served in teaching roles both formal and informal, including as a lecturer at Continental Theological Seminary in Belgium and a visiting lecturer at Addis Ababa Bible College in Ethiopia.
