Research Interests:
Claire’s research focuses on studying and characterizing glasses made with unusual materials, such as active pharmaceutical ingredients, compounds displaying different physical characteristics, and liquids that display unique properties.
Road to the Moody School:
Claire graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in chemistry and a minor in physics in 2021 from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she participated as a two-sport athlete in volleyball and in track and field. Her research has also taken her to labs at Texas A&M University, the University of North Texas and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. When she’s not in the lab, Claire bakes, runs Spartan races, plays with her two cats, reads political science books or lifts weights in the gym.
