Security Site Update Kicks Off OIT Web Refresh Project This week, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) launched a refreshed site for Information Security at smu.edu/infosec. The site has been updated with new content, easier navigation, and is now more mobile friendly. This launch is just the beginning of a refresh for the entire OIT website.

Campus digital signage server to be updated this summer This summer, OIT will be working to upgrade the campus digital signage server to the latest on-premise release, Appspace 6.3. The update will enable some new features like Cards, Channels, and new content libraries. Windows 10 Deployed to Classrooms This Summer While Windows 10 is the standard OS for faculty and staff computers, we have kept Windows 7 as the standard throughout all labs and classrooms to provide a consistent experience for faculty and students in these spaces. Over this summer, all managed computer labs and classroom instructor stations will be upgraded to the latest OS.
