The following services provide collaboration tools and file sharing/storage services for the SMU Campus.
Box
Box cloud storage is available to all active SMU faculty, staff, and students. In addition to storing files, Box allows for easy collaboration with groups via multiple methods. Departments on campus can also request a departmental Box in addition to their individual accounts.

Zoom, a cloud-based video conferencing service, is available to SMU faculty, staff, and students. This eLearning tool provides easy-to-use, high-definition video/audio conferencing on almost any device.

Asana is a project/task management and collaboration platform that is available for a fee to SMU departments upon request. This cloud-based system provides powerful tools to manage projects, coordinate team resources, share files and information, and more.

Network Drives
There are a number of different network drives provided and managed by OIT. These drives can only be accessed with SMU credentials (can not be accessed by a guest).

OneDrive
OneDrive is a cloud storage system included in the Microsoft 365 Apps suite that is available to SMU students, faculty, and staff. It is closely connected to Microsoft Office applications and can be used to collaborate with others using Office Online.

Skype for Business
Skype for Business is an integrated communication service that includes instant text messaging as well as audio and/or video calls. It integrates closely with other Microsoft Office applications like Outlook.

Telephone & Voicemail
SMU provides landline telephone service to most offices on campus. This also includes Unified Messaging features that allow for checking your voicemail from your SMU e-mail or from any telephone.

Wiki.SMU is an online documentation system for faculty and staff that allows for editing and collaboration similar to other wiki-based services like Wikipedia.
