Rashard Fant

Research Interests:
Rashard’s research focuses on intersectionality, inequity and access issues among Black students and student-athletes at predominantly white institutions.
Road to the Moody School:
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Rashard received his B.S. in public management in 2016 and his M.P.A. in public policy analysis in 2019 from Indiana University, where he was also a member of the university’s football program. Rashard went on to play professional football for the Chicago Bears from 2018 to 2020, before working in collegiate athletics in the area of student-athlete development and support. Currently, he works as a student success coach for Guild Education. In his free time, Rashard enjoys bowling, playing basketball and spending time with friends and family.
