Charles Eidelman

Charles Eidelman, a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, began his musical career at the Music Institute of Chicago where he studied piano and music theory with Kate Nir for seven years. In Chicago, he was recognized by the North Shore Music Teachers Association, Chicago Area Music Teachers Association and the Society of American Musicians for numerous piano performances. In Ann Arbor, he studied piano with Randall Faber at the Faber Piano Institute. His piano performances have brought him around the country, including for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Carnegie Hall.

Eidelman studied organ at Eastern Michigan University with Dr. Michael Burkhardt in high school through the university’s dual enrollment program. As an organist, he has performed in both religious and secular settings throughout Michigan and abroad in France and Germany. As a clarinetist, he has performed domestically as the chair clarinet of the Michigan Concert Orchestra and in Europe with the Blue Lake International Youth Symphony Orchestra. 

In Dallas, Eidelman will be pursuing the Bachelor of Music at Southern Methodist University for organ with Dr. Stefan Engels and Dr. George Baker. He will be the organ scholar at the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas through 2024. 

Besides music, Eidelman is an expert freshwater angler and home cook specializing in Sichuan Chinese cuisine.
