I received my undergraduate degree in Anthropology at Iowa State University and have spent several field seasons throughout the Great Plains and Midwest of the United States. As a graduate student at Southern Methodist University, I am focusing on Paleoindian archaeology in the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains. My research interests are: Zooarchaeology, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), Experimental Archaeology, Geometric Morphometrics, and Paleoecology.
Title of Dissertation: "Were Bison Predictable Prey? Using Stable Isotopes to Examine Early Holocene Bison Mobility on the Central Great Plains."
