Anuruddha Bhattacharjee

Research Interests:
Anuruddha’s research focuses on nature-inspired mesoscale robotics with an interest in electro-magnetically actuated modular reconfigurable robots, specifically for in-situ manufacturing and for bacteria-inspired soft robots for in-vivo applications. Through his research, Anuruddha hopes to develop novel mesoscale robotic tools and techniques to help people better their lives.
Road to the Moody School:
Anuruddha received a B.S. in mechanical engineering in 2017 from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He then lectured at Sonargaon University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, before moving to Dallas in the fall of 2018 to pursue his Ph.D. at SMU. In his leisure time, he loves cooking, watching sitcoms, reading blogs and going on road trips with friends.
