The Faculty Research Acceleration Grants were awarded for research in largescale multi-modal data analytics solutions to be implemented on SMU's high-performance computing platforms. The current projects are:

Unveiling Seismotectonics of the Subduction Zones: Leveraging Machine Learning Analysis of Ocean Bottom Seismometers (Professor Heather De Shon)
Fairness-aware Multimodal AI for Healthcare Data (Professors Eric Larson and Mehak Gupta)
