Kevin Wang

Research Interests:
Kevin’s investigations focus on computational and nonparametric statistics and their applications in various fields, such as biostatistics. As part of his research collaborations, he works with faculty from UT Southwestern Medical Center. His interests also include language models, visualization of texts, and the intersection of statistics and the humanities. 

Road to the Moody School:
Kevin graduated from SMU in 2021 with a B.S. in statistical science and a B.A. in creative writing and psychology. Although he already finds himself at home on the Hilltop, Kevin lives by 
the mantra that there are always more opportunities to explore. During his down time, he enjoys reading novels, writing poetry and discovering new YouTube channels with fun topics. He is excited to experience the campus as a graduate student.
