Piano Performance and Pedagogy

The Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy program is among the most distinguished piano teacher training programs in the nation. A select group of students work closely with faculty members in a teaching internship that is broad-based and intensive.

Students applying to the M.M. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy program at SMU Meadows School of the Arts must perform an audition on their principal instrument as outlined in the Required Graduate Audition Repertoire section of this website, submit video of their teaching, and interview with the piano pedagogy faculty.
