Bio
McKaye Black serves as the Senior Business Design Strategist for the C1 Innovation Lab, where she leads partnerships with the startup and innovation community and is responsible for identifying and supporting the innovation needs of the members of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Montana plans.
Prior to this role, McKaye served as a design and innovation strategist for companies from start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations, in a variety of industries, identify fuel for growth by unearthing meaningful insights, creating experiences that people love, and developing winning strategies.
McKaye is a graduate of the MMM Program at Northwestern University, holding an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a MS of Design Innovation from the Segal Design Institute, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
