Adjunct Professor – Engineering Communications

The Civil and Environmental Engineering department in the Lyle School of Engineering at Southern Methodist University is actively recruiting an Adjunct Professor to teach two sections of CEE 3302 Engineering Communications during Fall and Spring semesters. Engineering Communications is a junior-level undergraduate course that aims to improve engineering students’ writing and speaking skills. The course covers typical engineering report genres, e.g., resumes, letters, short reports, proposals, progress reports, technical reports, etc., and their oral presentation counterparts. Particular emphasis is placed on effectively communicating technical information to a broad range of audiences.
