Discover Music in our Libraries
SMU Libraries has music scores, CDs, and streaming music and video databases.
To find a specific score or recording, use Advanced Library Search. Limit the material type to Scores, Video/film, or Sound Recordings. Search for the title and the composer’s name as the author.
Learn how to find music and browse our streaming music databases on the Musical Scores and Recordings research guide.

Find Musical Scores in Other Libraries
You can discover musical scores held by other libraries in WorldCat. We are part of a sharing program that allows us to borrow materials from other libraries called Interlibrary Loan. To request a score we don’t already have, click on “Request SMU Interlibrary Loan” in the record from the WorldCat search results. This link takes you to our site and pre-fills the request form with information about the item.
