Cup of Joe is a light puzzle game that revolves around using multiple perspectives to solve the puzzles. You play as Joe, an ordinary average run-of-the-mill person, that didn't get enough sleep. So, much like every other person in the world, Joe is in desperate need of a cup of coffee. Help Joe survive the work day by getting him his morning cup of joe.
Red Panda Studios chose this project because we were interested in many perspective puzzle games such as FEZ, or Super Paper Mario. We wanted to capture that same element of whimsy and silliness that those games embody, while also simplifying them to work on the tablet. In the end, we decided the story of a quest for a morning cup of coffee was too relatable not to tell, because many days that's exactly what that feels like, a quest.
This game was worked on for over 2 months, from the end of September to the start of December in 2023. This project was beneficial to the team members because for 3 of the 4 members this was their first time making a game. So it was an invaluable learning experience about the development process that goes into making a game.

Get ready to roll!
DonuTilt takes you to the magical world of donuts, ravaged by a jelly explosion. Help our Donut Hero navigate through the world by tilting the donut box or rotating it completely to change gravity in the donut world. Use jelly splashes to slow you down and gumdrops to bounce around while avoiding sharp waffle cones as you collect tasty sprinkles on your journey to save your Donut Friends. Enjoy a dozen levels of limitless fun, intriguing puzzles, and a bit of chaos.
DonuTilt is a mobile game that uses a "tilt and tap" mechanic to roll around and rotate the donut world. Players experience the journey of a Donut Hero that must rescue their friends at the end of each level while collecting sprinkles along the way. The game features several interactive elements: jelly that slows down the Donut Hero, spiky waffle cones that hurt them, gumdrops that bounce, cookies that crumble, and Pocky sticks that move when gravity in the donut world changes.
DonuTilt provides a puzzle-based experience with some inspiration from pinball where players must strategically make their way through levels but also experience some chaos when bouncing around from gumdrop to gumdrop. Our target players are casual mobile gamers, and the gameplay time is between 15 and 30 minutes. Playing on the strengths of mobile devices, the game controls are based completely on tilting and tapping anywhere on the left or right half of the screen for maximum player control and comfort.

Escape from Chairtopia is a single-player, top-down, action puzzle game developed in Unity 2022.3.7f1. Curry Dumplings designed Escape from Chairtopia to explore the narrative of the growing struggle of workers who are often overworked and underpaid. Here, Kitty! Is a single player, top-down view, 2D light puzzle game developed in Unity. In the game, players encounter a little witch in her castle with her beloved cats, practicing her magical spells. Her kitties are her best friends and favorite study buddies. However, the little witch is still in-training (and isn't an avid reader) so some key steps, sort of slip by. Suddenly, a spell goes wrong and...BOOM! Her frightened kitty friends run for cover and hide on the castles' six, unique floors. The witch must now move boxes, slide along magical floor tiles, dodge slime pits, and activate magical switches in search of her kitty crew. Help the little witch find her kitties!
Starstruck Studios designed this game with the intention to provide a relaxing environment where players can relax while having fun. During the three months of production, all members of the team worked very hard to achieve this goal. The team learned about the basic pipeline of making games, gained experience developing independent game projects, and developed an understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration.
