Timothy Goeglein was Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the Office of Public Liaison under President George W. Bush. Before serving under the President, he was Communications Director and Press Secretary for Senator Dan Coats. He is the author of The Man in the Middle: an Inside Account of Faith and Politics in the George W. Bush Era.
