BA Psychology and Medical Anthropology, University of North Texas
Halle is currently a MA/PhD student of Medical Anthropology at SMU and entered the program in Fall of 2021. Halle received a BA in Psychology and Medical Anthropology from the University of North Texas in Fall 2020 while co-founding UNT's Students for Sensible Drug Policy chapter and maintaining a leadership position. She is pursuing research that focuses on how people with mental ailments utilize psychoactive plants as a therapeutic technology. Currently, she is working as a teaching assistant and is a team member for a NIMH-funded project on early psychosis and substance use.
