Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center

The Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center – known as the A-LEC – offers services to all levels of SMU students, including its most high-achieving students. It is housed in a spacious state-of-the-art facility that includes a large lounge, computer labs and rooms for group and individual tutoring.

National Fellowships and Awards

For students interested in pursuing national fellowships and awards, such as Rhodes, Marshall, Goldwater, Truman and many others, SMU offers support and guidance through its Office of National Fellowships and Awards. The office is directed by Dr. Kathleen Hugley-Cook.
