Cariloop Caregiving Support provides services for those whom may be taking care of a loved one, whether a relative, friend or neighbor! Cariloop allows you to never feel alone again when navigating through the caregiving journey by providing excellent service through their Care Coaching. Enrollment into Cariloop is as simple as dialing 972-325-5836 or visiting the site at cariloop.com/register as SMU covers this benefit for full-time and part-time faculty and staff. Of the vast subjects Cariloop Care Coaches can assist with, we have listed a few below to get an initial understanding of some of the ground they cover:
- Alzheimer's Disease
- Autism
- Medicare and Medicaid
- Parkinson's
- Pediatric Care
- Family Dynamics associated with caregiving
- Out-of-State caregiving and concerns
The Cariloop site houses an online case management portal that allows you to consult with the Care Coaches as well as upload documents that you may share with other loved ones who may be assisting in the caregiving or education journey.
Cariloop Education Support provides services to help navigate the education system with confidence. Education care coaches can help you stay on track while you navigate the complex education system. Some area where education coaches can provide support include:
- IEP and 504 support - coaches can review documentation, attend meetings, and clarify information
- Help with enrollment - get personalized information on registration and preparations
- Tackle college prep - help through the college admissions process
- Financial Aid process and FAFSA - help understanding the steps and identifying aid opportunities
- Explore trade schools and beyond - explore options for alternative paths to education
- Find student wellbeing support - dedicated support through behavioral challenges, peer relationships and extracurricular activity options
