Kati Riedel

Kati Riedel is the Events and Enrollment Lead for the Department of Education Policy and Leadership in the Simmons School of Education and Human Development. She leads the development of an annual marketing and recruiting plan that includes all events, social, digital and print media for the M.Ed. and Ed.D. programs. Prior to working at SMU, she spent 5 years in PR, Marketing and Advertising agencies in a variety of industries. She directed omnichannel campaigns and onsite events for B2B companies in the manufacturing, packaging, corrugated, IIoT, printing and textiles industries. Her experience spans trade show development and execution, web and digital development, graphic design, copywriting, public relations management and social media management. She earned her Bachelor's of Journalism in Strategic Communication and B.S. in Business Administration: Marketing from the University of Missouri.
