We're Here to Help

For questions and general information, please email us at dass@smu.edu, or phone our office at 214-768-1470, and you will be directed to the appropriate staff member.

DASS is located in the Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center (A-LEC) on the 2nd floor of the Loyd All-Sports Center in Suite 202. A map of the area is available on the A-LEC website.

To schedule a meeting with a DASS staff member, please go to the student DASS Link log-in page and pick the appropriate staff person.

Students who have requested services, as well as all current DASS students, have been assigned to a DASS Coordinator. If you have disability-related questions or concerns, this is the person with whom you should meet. If you don't know who your Coordinator is, check DASS Link>>Accommodations>>Accommodation Letters to view a letter with your Coordinator's signature.

If you have never requested DASS services before:

Please email dass@smu.edu, or phone us at 214-768-1470, to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

Please submit any medical or other supporting documentation electronically via DASS Link rather than by mail, fax, or in-person. If you're a student requesting accommodations for the first time at SMU, you can attach electronic copies of your documents when you fill out your online Accommodation Request Form. If you've already requested or received accommodations through DASS, follow the DASS Link instructions to upload new documents.

Health professionals who prefer to submit documentation directly to our office can do so by fax at 214-768-1255. Please include a cover sheet.

If you have questions or need help submitting disability-related documentation, emaildass@smu.edu, or call us at 214-768-1470.
