First-Generation Association
First-Generation Association (FGA) is an educational organization which exists to foster a community of people interested in all aspects of being a first-gen student. FGA connects first-generation students by: promoting academic resources, creating a community at SMU that welcomes students from different backgrounds, connecting and creating partnerships with other first-gen students in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. First-Generation Law Student Association
First-Generation Law Student Association (FGLSA) is a student organization that is led by first-gen law students and for first-gen law students.
Who is a first-gen law student? A law student who is the first in their immediate family to graduate with a bachelor’s degree.
FGLSA is focused on creating a community for first-generation law students. This organization will provide networking opportunities among members and alumni, give professional advice, and create social activities. For more information, find and join FGLSA on SMU 360.
