Culminating Project
The goal of the Honors Culminating Project is to promote UHP student participation in projects that enhance their major studies and engage in work outside the classroom.
Examples of Approved Projects:
Hamilton Research Fellow and Departmental Distinction in Biology |
Participation in the Institute for Responsible Citizenship and an Internship with Capital Impact Partners |
Founding and directing Apollo Tutors |
Creating a free, after school chamber music program for students in South Dallas |
Mayer Interdisciplinary Project |
Completion of Engineering Senior Design Course and Project |
Distinction in History |
Research at UT Southwestern |
Summer Internship in Taos, NM with Taos County EMS and Holy Cross Hospital |
Engaged Learning Project |
Senior Music Recital |
Professional Internship as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst |
Distinction in Spanish |
Distinction in Psychology |
Student Lecturer and Archivist Intern at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum |
