2023 Perkins Annual Conference Gatherings for Friends, Alums

Friends, Alumni and current or prospective students of Perkins School of Theology are invited to attend the 2023 Annual Conference gatherings. Faculty and staff of Perkins School of Theology will be present and will provide programs and updates. If you didn't receive your annual conference event invitation via e-mail, please update your alum information here.

The Central Texas Annual Conference will meet June 4 – 7 at the Waco Convention Center. Bishop Michael McKee, Dean, ad interim, Matt Jacob and Christina Rhodes will attend from Perkins. An alumni and friends luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6 at noon at Pignetti's Waco, 401 S 3rd St. Luncheon cost is $20; click this link to register and pay: https://bit.ly/CTAC2023.

The Great Plains Annual Conference meets June 7 – 10 at the LaVista Conference Center in La Vista, NE. From Perkins, Heather Gottas Moore will attend. There is no alumni and friends event scheduled.

The Rio Texas Annual Conference will gather June 8 – 10 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi. Hugo Magallanes and Caleb Palmer will be in attendance from Perkins. An alumni and friends event is scheduled for Friday, June 9 from 5:00 to 7 00 p.m. in Room C105 at the American Back Center. The Florida Annual Conference meets June 8 – 10 at Florida Southern College’s Branscomb Auditorium in Lakeland, FL. Representing Perkins will be Matt Jacob and Melissa Gooch. There is an Ice Cream Social planned for Friday, June 9 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm at the Fannin Campus Ministries Center. All are welcome, please stop by!

The Dakotas Annual Conference gathers June 8 – 10 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Emilie Williams will attend from Perkins. There is no alumni and friends event scheduled.

The West Virginia Annual Conference will meet June 8 – 11 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Bart Patton will attend from Perkins. There is no alumni and friends event scheduled.

The Missouri Annual Conference meets June 9 – 11 at St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, MO. Andy Keck will represent Perkins. There is no alumni and friends event scheduled.

The Oklahoma Indian Missionary Annual Conference meets June 9 – 11 at the Northeast Region Ministry Center in Beggs, OK. Melissa Hernandez-Probus will represent Perkins. An alumni and friends gathering will be held Saturday, June 10 at noon in Hospitality House 7.

The North Texas Annual Conference will meet June 11 – 13 at Christ UMC Plano. Bishop Michael McKee, Dean, ad interim, Matt Jacob, Bart Patton, Heather Gottas Moore, John Martin, Rachel Holmes, Caleb Palmer and Christina Rhodes will attend from Perkins. A Perkins alumni and friends gathering is planned for Tuesday, June 13 at 7 a.m. at Christ UMC Plano.

The Louisiana Annual Conference will gather June 13 - 16 at the Baton Rouge Hilton. Caleb Palmer and Matt Jacob will attend from Perkins. Information about a Perkins alumni and friends event will be available soon.

The New Mexico Annual Conference meets June 14 – 16 at the Las Cruces Convention Center. Hugo Magallanes and Emilie Williams will attend from Perkins. There is no alumni and friends event scheduled.

The California-Pacific Annual Conference will meet June 14 – 17 at the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel. Heather Gottas Moore will represent Perkins. There is no alumni and friends event scheduled.

The Tennessee-Western Kentucky Annual Conference will meet June 19 – 21 at the Renasant Convention Center in Memphis, TN. Bart Patton will attend from Perkins. There is no alumni and friends event scheduled.

The Arkansas Annual Conference met June 21 – 24 at Hot Springs Convention Center. Bishop Michael McKee, Dean, ad interim, Bart Patton and Emilie Williams will attend from Perkins. An alumni and friends dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21. More information about the event will be available soon.

The Mississippi Annual Conference will meet June 27 – 30 at the Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, MS. Emilie Williams will represent Perkins. There is no alumni and friends event scheduled.

Past Events:

The Oklahoma Annual Conference meets May 22 – 25 at Boston Ave UMC in Tulsa, OK. Attending from Perkins: Andy Keck and Caleb Palmer. A lunchtime event for Perkins alumni and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at noon. Box lunches can be purchased ($18) when you register for the Conference.

The Texas Annual Conference meets May 28 – May 31 at the Hilton Americas in Houston. Participating from Perkins: Bishop Michael McKee, Dean, ad interim, Matt Jacob, Dallas Gingles, John Martin and Christina Rhodes. An alumni and friends luncheon will be held Tuesday, May 30 at noon.
