SMU to serve as voting location on November 5

Polling will be available on campus to registered Dallas County voters from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in SMU's Hughes-Trigg Student Center, ballroom A and B, on election day. Free parking will be available.

SMU TO SERVE AS VOTING LOCATION ON NOVEMBER 5

DALLAS (SMU) – SMU’s Hughes-Trigg Student Center will serve as a community voting location for the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday, November 5. Polling will be available on campus from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center, ballroom A and B, on election day. Dallas County registered voters can cast ballots at any vote center location.

On election day, the Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility will host a voter information table in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center for anyone who has questions about the voting process. They will provide sample ballots, nonpartisan resources, “I voted” stickers and opportunities for student voters to share what they hope to see from the presidency over the next four years.

Free parking will be available for members of the Dallas community in the Binkley Parking Center. For more information on Dallas County Elections Department’s voting requirements, visit here.
