Associate Professor of Photography Debora Hunter Featured in Spring Exhibition at Frontiers of Flight Museum

Time Flies, an exhibition of photographs by Associate Professor of Art Debora Hunter, will be featured at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas from May 4 through July 31.

The exhibit commemorates the upcoming 10th anniversary of the museum’s facility on Lemmon Avenue, and invites visitors to recall the museum’s original location on the second level of the Love Field terminal building from 1990 to 2004. Through images of the old and new collection, Hunter explores the manner by which people preserve and honor their past.

The opening reception will be held Sunday, May 4 from 1 to 3 p.m., with remarks by Hunter at 2 p.m.

The Frontiers of Flight Museum provides a focal point to explore the history and progress of aviation, as mankind continues to pursue going higher, faster and farther. It features more than 30 aircraft and space vehicles – from early biplanes to the Apollo 7 command module – along with thousands of supporting artifacts.

The museum is located at 6911 Lemmon Avenue in Dallas, on the southeast side of Dallas Love Field Airport, north of Mockingbird Lane. Hours are 10-5 Monday-Saturday and 1-5 Sunday.
