Ben Baby
Ben Baby has been a full-time reporter at ESPN since 2019 and teaches a course in sports data and analytics for the division. For ESPN, he covers the Cincinnati Bengals as part of ESPN’s NFL Nation team. He also has covered boxing for ESPN since 2020.
Baby is from Grapevine, Texas, and received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas in 2013. Before joining ESPN, he spent his entire career reporting for newspapers in Texas. He started his full-time career in 2011 at the Denton Record-Chronicle before later joining the San Antonio Express-News and eventually, The Dallas Morning News.
Baby has been a finalist for national Associated Press Sports Editors awards and a Texas Associated Press Managing Editors award. He and his wife, Heather, currently live in northern Kentucky.
