Heather Guthrie

Heather Guthrie is the coordinator of the Division of Dance and as such ensures the logistic and administrative aspects of the department run smoothly. Not only does she have a background of more than 20 years of dance beginning at a young age, she also comes to SMU with a strong business background, making her an ideal "go to" person for both students and faculty. During her career she has accumulated years of experience in the corporate world and honed her customer service skills to a fine edge. Her strong background in dance, coupled with her business savvy and the desire to ensure that the SMU experience is an exceptional one, makes her a knowledgeable and easily approachable resource.
