Michaella Walton Gilliland
Michaella Gilliland is a lecturer in the Division of Corporate Communication and Public Affairs. Her courses cover a range of communication topics including public speaking and leadership in corporate and social contexts.
Gilliland’s research interests include the intersection of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and consumer perceptions as they relate to varying types of public relations campaigns. She is also fascinated by the ever-changing impact of social media and its effect on communication patterns, as well as individuals’ methods to engage in civil dialogue, both in-person and online.
