Introducing the SMU CCPA Alumni Network
Graduates of the SMU Division of Corporate Communication and Public Affairs are now eligible to join the SMU CCPA Alumni Network!
Network membership is open to all undergraduate and graduate alumni, regardless of age or graduation year. SMU alumni who currently work in the communication industry are also welcome to join. Membership comes with exclusive benefits and perks like swag, networking opportunities, and members-only previews of exciting division happenings. In addition, you'll be supporting your alma mater and the upcoming renovation of the division's spaces in Umphrey Lee, putting the best people and facilities in place for the benefit of current and future students.

Being part of the SMU CCPA Alumni Network is like enjoying homecoming every day. You can find and keep up with the friends you made at CCPA and expand your professional connections. Network members will receive special alumni-only emails that include exclusive divisional updates, as well information on event and volunteer opportunities.

- Subscribe to the SMU CCPA Blog: The latest division news, articles, and headlines delivered straight to your inbox.
- Join the SMU Meadows School of the Arts Network on LinkedIn: A closed group of more than 2,000 alumni, students, faculty and staff that features job postings, alumni news, and school announcements. Administrative approval is required to join.
- Join the CCPA Alumni Group on the SMU Network: Exclusive to SMU alumni and students, this platform allows members to search for professional contacts by geographic location, area of study, industry, and other key fields. Members are able to designate themselves as “willing to help” others with their careers, taking some of the guesswork out of networking efforts. CCPA graduates are automatically added to the CCPA Alumni Group on the SMU Network.
Mentor Students
No matter where you live, you can help shape the careers of CCPA students by serving as a mentor. Volunteer opportunities may include reviewing a resume, speaking to a class, offering an internship or one-day job-shadowing session, or meeting virtually for an informational interview. Sign up as a Meadows Mentor to let us know what programs most interest you.
Support Scholarships
The SMU CCPA Alumni Network is dedicated to supporting the division’s funding priorities, including student scholarships and other critical academic and operational needs. Alumni are called upon each year on SMU Giving Day to designate a gift of to one of the division’s featured funding projects. Make a $25 gift to the CCPA Scholarship Fund today
