Tabatha Trolli

Tabatha Trolli is an artist working primarily in the medium of ceramics. She received her B.F.A. in ceramics at Temple University Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, Penn. and an M.F.A. at The University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, Texas. As an active artist making functional ceramics and sculpture as well as works in painting and photography, she has exhibited in galleries and craft shows nationally since 2010. UNT awarded Trolli a graduate teaching assistantship and an academic achievement scholarship for two consecutive years. As an undergraduate, she was also awarded the UNT College of Visual Arts and Design Curtis McCaffity Memorial Endowment for the Arts.

Along with a rich studio practice, Trolli is a ceramics and three-dimensional design instructor at the university level across North Texas and has experience teaching in high schools and community art centers. Her work has been published in Pottery Making Illustrated and in Working with Porcelain, a recent American Ceramic Society book edited by Ash Neukamm, with introduction by artist and writer Antoinette Badenhorst.

Since graduating with an M.F.A. in 2016, Trolli has been showing in group exhibitions nationally as well as in solo exhibitions at 500X Gallery and Brookhaven College in Dallas.
