During its first decade of operation, the Hunt Institute’s work has impacted all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth in 2015 by the United Nations and subsequently adopted by 193 countries. The SDGs call for action by all countries to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. These goals reflect the important recognition that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic prosperity and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and protecting the natural environment.
