Ryan Parley

Ryan Summer Parley is a trusted legal partner in the retail fashion space, specializing in commercial transactions, marketing, and e-commerce. Ryan currently the Assistant General Counsel over the Commercial Transactions and Privacy team at JCPenney, supporting cross functional operations from IT, Marketing, Procurement, Merchandising, and HR, and previously led the Commercial and IP team at Neiman Marcus Group as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel handling legal and compliance efforts for Marketing, Advertising and Creative, IT, Information Security, Merchant and Brand operations for both stores and e-commerce, and large scale initiatives from tech acquisitions to the creation of the product safety program, FTC compliance and international expansion. Ryan is on the board of the DBA’s Corporate Counsel section, and is an active member in her community at large. Ryan lives in Dallas with her husband and two children.
