Launched in 1993, our annual Corporate Counsel Symposium is a significant annual event for corporate counsel and private practitioners. For many years, SMU Dedman Law students have planned the event with guidance from faculty and senior legal officers of major corporations.

The SMU Ethics & Compliance Certificate is a multi-disciplinary program designed for compliance, legal, and financial professionals. This program will strengthen your professional credentials and give you an immediate edge while you build your knowledge for higher levels of responsibility. The program is a collaboration within Southern Methodist University between the Cox School of Business, the Robert B. Rowling Center for Business Law & Leadership at the Dedman School of Law, and the Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility.

The Corporate Directors' Institute is dedicated to helping members of boards of directors understand their legal, fiduciary, and ethical oversight responsibilities and gain practical insights into new rules, regulations, and polices that affect their companies and their boards.
