Harini Lenin

Harini is from Coppell, Texas, majoring in Finance and Public Policy, with minors in Human Rights, Music, and Public Policy and International Affairs through the Tower Scholars Program. At SMU, Harini is an International Baccalaureate and Distinguished Scholar. In addition, Harini is a euphonium player in the Meadows Wind Ensemble, a member of the Mary Hay–Peyton–Shuttles Common Council, and Student Services Assistant at Fondren Library. Harini is very interested in education policy, especially regarding students with disabilities. She hopes to research ways to improve current education policies during her time at SMU with the help of the Tower Scholars Program. Once graduating, Harini hopes to attend law school, where she plans to specialize in public interest. Eventually, Harini would love to work in the public policy realm, either through a policy institute or government work. Harini loves to read, try new boba tea places, and watch tennis and figure skating in her free time.
