About
Dr. Yichen Su is an urban and labor economist. The primary focus of his research is to understand the impact of cities on labor productivity, innovation, and the well-being of the population. Prior to joining SMU, Yichen was a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, where he regularly prepared updates and analysis on the Texas economy and special topics regarding the U.S. economy in preparation for the FOMC meetings.
