Kristin Henderson ’82 says thanks

Serving as the chair of the SMU Alumni Board has been an honor. The Alumni Board works to engage our peers to come back to campus, give back and get involved.

Relationships are my main motivator, and the opportunity to connect with SMU alums across the world has been gratifying. The stories and people I’ve encountered over the last two years remind me how fortunate we are to be a part of this great University and to be able to impact SMU through our involvement.

Thank you to my husband, Stewart Henderson ’81, for his support, and to our development team led by Brad Cheves and Astria Smith and to each of the board members who step up to help when called upon. The board will be in the most capable hands as Philip Wise ’78, ’81 begins his service as chair for the next two years.
