 Lacey A. Horn

Lacey A. Horn, Treasurer of the Cherokee Nation, noted for her ability to find optimal solutions for ideal outcomes and making a difference in the governance of organizations and lives of people. Ms. Horn earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2004 and Master of Science in accounting in 2005. Beginning her career with Hunt Oil and KPMG Chicago as an auditor, Ms. Horn has been Cherokee Nation Treasurer since 2011. She oversees all financial functions of the tribal government, including the tribal administration’s $1 billion annual budget and the Cherokee Nation’s tribal health care system, which is the largest of its kind. In 2015, Ms. Horn was appointed to the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Tribal Advisory Committee. The Native American Finance Officers Association selected Ms. Horn as “Executive of the Year” in 2014 and she appeared in Oklahoma Magazine’s 40 Under 40 list in 2012.
