Research Integrity & Compliance

Southern Methodist University Research Integrity and Compliance (RIC) helps SMU faculty, staff, and student researchers navigate research requirements through education and program initiatives designed to facilitate research, improve efficiencies, and ensure regulatory compliance. We also support and promote ethical research practices at SMU, by coordinating institution-wide research compliance policy and procedure development, and by partnering with researchers, so that the university is compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as university policies.
