The SMU Men's and Women's basketball teams played their first games in the renovated Moody Coliseum on Jan. 4, 2014. Moody and the new Miller Event Center opened with formal ceremonites at the December Commencement Convocation on Dec. 21, 2013. The Men's Basketball team won their first victory there against UConn on Jan. 4, 74-65. The Women's first victory came against Memphis on Jan. 7, 80-75.
