The annual Perkins Summit for Faith and Learning offers a wide range of theological mini-courses for laypersons, community leaders and clergy. Somewhere between seminary and Sunday School, Summit leverages the rich learning community of Perkins School of Theology to provide a unique, self-paced experience in theological education—for the church and world. Come for a half-day or spend the whole two days with us. Participants are free to design a customized Summit plan!

Scholarships | A limited number of partial, need-based scholarships are available for day-long course registration. For more information, please contact our office (214) 768-7015 or theoexternalprograms@smu.edu. Perkins Summit Scholarships are funded by the Howard Holbert Endowment fund.
Continuing Education Units | For each course, .30 CEUs will be awarded to paid registrants who purchased a CEU with registration, and attend the course/s for which they registered. Full conference registration will be awarded 1 CEU. CEUs are issued digitally through a third-party software, Credly. We no longer provide printed copies of CEUs, however they can be printed through the Credly platform.
Cancellation Policy |We understand that sometimes participants need to cancel. Refunds will be granted for cancellations received no less than seven days prior to the event, minus a $25.00 service fee. Cancellations may be requested by emailing theoexternalprograms@smu.edu or by calling (214) 768-7015.
