Apply Now for Fall 2018 Perkins Scholarships

DALLAS (SMU) - Perkins School of Theology is accepting applications for merit-based scholarships (awarded on a rolling basis) through Thursday, Feb. 1 and for need-based scholarships (provided upon availability) through Thursday, March 1. To be considered for a scholarship, students are required to have demonstrated a 3.2 grade point average in all previous college work. For need-based grants, students are required to have been admitted to a specific degree program by March 1, and to have completed the Financial Aid Form for Student Aid www.fafsa.ed.gov.

"We are dedicated to helping every student reach a financial solution that makes their Perkins education possible," said Sandy Oswalt, Perkins Financial Aid Coordinator. "Numerous opportunities are available through merit awards, need-based grants and loans, all of which we are prepared to help prospective students navigate."

"Our goal is to assist students in making a seminary education affordable and possible," she said. Each year, nearly 75 percent of Perkins students will receive some form of financial assistance from Perkins School of Theology.
