Inside Perkins in Houston Planned for Thursday, Oct. 29
We invite all prospective degree and non-degree students to attend a free information session scheduled for 5 to 7:45 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
DALLAS (SMU) – Are you investigating a possible career switch or interested in what a graduate program in theology entails? And did you know one of the nation’s top theology schools has an extension program based in Houston?
Perkins School of Theology invites all prospective degree and non-degree students to attend Inside Perkins, a free information session scheduled for 5 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church – 5501 Main St., Houston, TX 77004.
“We are proud to bring the resources of our Perkins program in Dallas and offer it in a convenient manner for our friends in Houston,” said William J. Bryan III, Associate Dean for Student Affairs at Perkins. “Inside Perkins provides prospective students with the opportunity to learn first-hand about the world-class courses Perkins offers here in Houston.”
In addition to a free dinner and tour of the facility, participants will have an opportunity to speak with Herbert Coleman, Director of Recruitment and Admissions at Perkins, learn more about the variety of degree programs the school offers, obtain financial-aid information and attend an actual evening class taught by Professor Robert Hunt, director of Global Theological Education at Perkins. Also, you can attend an optional worship service at 7:45 p.m.
