Feb. 1 Merit Scholarship Deadline for Prospective Students

Dear Prospective Perkins Student,

Greetings from Perkins School of Theology!

This is a friendly reminder that if you would like to be considered for a merit-based scholarship for Fall 2013, Friday, February 1 is the deadline for completing your admissions application. Now is a perfect time to complete your application, as we are currently waiving our $50 application fee. Scholarships are offered on a rolling basis, so please be encouraged to submit your application as soon as possible.

If admitted to one of our degree programs, you will automatically be considered for a merit scholarship if your cumulative GPA is at least a 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. The same materials submitted for admission will also be used to review your application for a merit scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application form. Information and deadlines for applicants interested in need-based grants can be found by visiting our website.

If you have started your application but need to know what is still missing from your file, please e-mail Mary Gallegos, Admissions Specialist, or call 214.768.2293.

If you have not started your application, you may apply apply online or download and print the application form. We accept faxed reference forms and letters to meet our application deadline, but the originals must follow in the mail. We also accept faxed applications and required essays (fax: 214.768.4245). Official transcripts should be mailed directly to Perkins from any university or college you attended.
