Biography
Keyang (Daniel) Yang is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance at the Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at Washington State University and earned his doctorate from the University of Iowa. Dr. Yang’s research focuses on corporate finance, with notable publications such as "Import Penetration and Executive Compensation" in the Review of Financial Studies. His research has been presented at prestigious conferences, including the American Finance Association Annual Meeting. At SMU, Dr. Yang teaches a range of finance courses, integrating real-world applications and analytical tools to enhance the learning experience for his students.
