7 p.m. Distinguished Alumni Awards Celebration

Celebrate Joseph M. (Jody) Grant ’60, Jeanne Roach Johnson ’54, Peggy Higgins Sewell ’72, Emerging Leader Recipient Brittany Merrill Underwood ’07 and honor several of SMU’s history makers. Friday, October 25

11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. - Reunion Weekend Check-In and Packet Pick-Up

Check in at our welcome area inside Blanton Student Services Building to receive your reunion registration packet containing your nametags, tickets and other important weekend information.

Noon – 5 p.m. – George W. Bush Presidential Center Admission

Enjoy discounted group admission to see the Museum that highlights critical events and issues from the Administration of President George W. Bush and acts as the repository for domestic and foreign Presidential gifts as well as other donated artifacts relating to the life and career of President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush. The suggested class of ‘73 admission time is 12:30; however guests are welcome to purchase tickets for any time frame. 3 p.m. – Campus Walking Tours

See how much has changed since your last trip to the Hilltop with our guided campus walking tour led by current SMU students.

Friday afternoon – Mustang Showcase

5-6 p.m. – Reunion Kickoff Happy Hour Celebration

Pick up your weekend registration packet and join us for a complimentary come and go reception on the terrace of Blanton Student Services Building overlooking campus.

8:15 p.m. – Pigskin Revue

Hosted by the Mustang Band, the Pigskin Revue features SMU students in music, dance and comedy acts. Don’t miss this tradition featuring new music and old favorites from past Revues at McFarlin Auditorium.

Saturday, October 26

11 a.m. – Noon SMU Homecoming Parade

View parade floats and other entertainment as they march through campus in celebration of SMU Homecoming.

Time TBD - Reunion Village on the Boulevard

Enjoy food and drinks on the Boulevard in a special tent for your class on Clements Lawn by Hughes-Trigg Student Center.


Time TBD – SMU vs. Temple Football

Sit with your classmates in Sections 220, 221 or 222 of Ford Stadium to cheer on the Mustang football team. The classes with the highest participation and dollar totals will be recognized by Dr. Turner during the game.

11 a.m. – Memorial worship service in Perkins chapel

Join the entire SMU community and guest preacher Richie Butler ’93 at this special service to culminate Reunion Weekend and remember lost classmates.


Family Day at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Join Peruna, the SMU spirit squad and fellow alumni as you explore the museum with discount admission and get an insider’s look of SMU’s important contributions to the exhibits.
