TT&C provides Professional Services to SMU’s research community structured to guide inventors and researchers through the process of technology transfer, from initial idea evaluation to commercialization which, in turn, generates revenue and supports future research activities.  We do this by:

• Working with researchers to assess the uniqueness and social impact of the invention;
• Help protect the invention in a timely manner through patent prosecution; and
• Engage industry partners and potential investors to commercialize promising innovative technology that benefits society and increases funding opportunities for SMU researchers.
