A variety of services are available on campus to help new maintainers learn more about working on the Web. Through the University Web site, you can download software or sign up for training (many maintainers take the same classes more than once).
Web Services maintains a comprehensive guide to using the University's official Web template -- including information on fonts and colors, saving images for the Web, common mistakes, and using breadcrumbs, as well as a button library. Many other resources for faculty and staff are available through Information Technology Services and the Webmaster's Office. The FAQ even includes video tutorials, so you can benefit from ITS expertise at your own pace.SMU Public Affairs and the University Webmaster's Office can help with specific issues, challenges and technical problems. Please contact Ben Alexander or the SMU Technology Support Center with any questions.
